I’ve had a good experience overall, especially for the price. It feels like a solid value and does what I need it to do. That said, I do wish the support was a bit more responsive and helpful when questions come up. A friend actually recommended it to me, and I can see why, but better customer service would make it much easier to fully recommend

I’ve had a decent experience with Primeweld overall. The website is easy to use, and the prices seem fair from what I’ve seen. The only thing is, a couple of times I went to order something and it was out of stock, and I couldn’t really tell when it might be available again… so that was a little frustrating.

I ended up just checking back later and waiting it out. Not the worst experience or anything, but if you need a part or machine quickly, it can be annoying. I still like the company, just wish the stock updates were a bit clearer… 3 stars from me.

My Primeweld order showed up packed well. The box had a couple small dents, but everything inside was fine. The parts were wrapped tight and didn’t really shift around much. A little extra padding on the corners would be nice, but overall I’m happy with it. I’d give it 4 stars.

I had to return an item and, to be fair, the return did go through in the end. Support got back to me and the refund eventually showed up, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. But it took longer than I expected, and the lack of clear updates made me start wondering what was going on. That kind of slow communication definitely chipped away at my trust a bit. Overall, it was okay, just not the smoothest experience.

Tech support did eventually help me sort out the issue with my welder, and the people I talked to were polite and easy enough to deal with. The downside was that the replies took a while, and I had to explain the problem more than once, which got a little frustrating. Overall, I’d say they’re helpful, but the support process could definitely be quicker.

I needed a replacement part for my welder and PrimeWeld did come through, they had the part available and the shipping was reasonable. That part of the experience was solid. The only thing that gave me pause was how hard it was to find the parts page. It made me wonder a bit how easy things would be if I had a bigger issue, so my trust took a small hit there. Still, in the end, I got what I needed.

I’ve been using it for a bit now it works good with no issues so far. Setup was easy enough, and I haven’t had to mess with it since. Weirdly, I remember opening the box while eating a pickle, so now I kind of associate the whole thing with that, but the product itself has been solid.

I picked up the Primeweld mostly for smaller jobs around the garage, and reading between the lines of the specs and reviews, I figured it would be decent — but it actually welds better than I expected. The arc starts fast and stays nice and steady, which made it easy to get comfortable with. I tried it on some mild steel and stainless scraps, and once I dialed in the settings, the beads came out clean with very little spatter. The manual could definitely explain things a bit better, especially if you’re still getting used to the machine, but the welder itself has been great so far. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I ordered the foot pedal control from primeweld.com and it got here fast. For the price, I’m happy with it so far. It works well with my welder, and the control feels smooth enough for the small stuff I’m doing out in the garage.
The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the pedal felt a little stiff at first, so it took some messing around to get used to it. Not a dealbreaker, especially since I didn’t want to spend a bunch more on something fancier. It does what I need it to do.

Got it set up quick, and the instructions actually made sense. I was up and welding way sooner than I thought I’d be, so no real complaints here.

Right out of the box, my first impression was that this welder feels well built for what it costs. The case feels sturdy, the knobs don’t have that cheap flimsy feel, and the leads were actually better than I expected. I’m giving it 4 stars because a few of the smaller fittings felt a little rough at first, but nothing that seemed like a big issue. Overall, it works well and feels like it should hold up for a while.

All the accessories were in the box, which was a relief because I really didn’t want to deal with the hassle of contacting support or hunting down missing parts. Still, I had to double-check everything just to be sure, which felt like extra effort I wasn’t in the mood for

This torch feels really good in my hand, like it’s just comfortable to grip. I was using my old one and my hand would start cramping quick, but with this one it’s not nearly as bad. Also, it has a nice weight to it, not too heavy, not too light. Anyway, I’m happy with it so far.

The arc stayed really steady the whole time, which made welding so much easier for me 🙂 Definitely a smoother experience than I expected.
